More About Us
History
The Emerald Society of Missouri, Metropolitan St. Louis Chapter, was established in 1997 by the inaugural members pictured to the left.
The mission of the Emerald Society is to preserve the Irish culture and traditions while promoting the contributions of our ancestors. Additionally, we aim to recognize the accomplishments of Irish-Americans in Law Enforcement and other public safety professions.
As we celebrate 20 years, we look forward to continued growth and success.
As we celebrate our 20-year milestone, it's an ideal time to reflect on our history and to look ahead at the future of our organization. Our goals are to increase active membership through outreach and participation in events within the law enforcement and Irish communities. Through greater membership, we can enhance our presence and thereby increase our charitable donations. The ESM aims to continue forward in the manner that has carried us the first 20 years of our existence.
